Blueprints for the Home By Design Showhouse were offered as a presentation set and as a full construction set. Designed by architect and author Sarah Susanka, the home encompasses the key principles of design featured in her book, Home By Design: Transforming Your House Into Home, and it was awarded the Energy Star rating for its energy efficiency.

The drawings

The plan set covers the main level and the upper level. The main level carries the entry under the curved roof form, the shared living space and the kitchen; the upper level carries the bedrooms and the spaces that the book describes as places apart within an open plan.

The Showhouse plans were sold exclusively through a plans publisher rather than from this site, and orders are no longer taken here.
